Nakul Mathur
Operations Director India 

Nakul has worked with Leading hotels all over India as departmental head for Food & Beverage and Front Office operations ensuring guest satisfaction.

He was Involved in the opening of some of India``s most exotic resorts and building them up to excellent guest services level.

Prior to joining Avanta, Nakul Worked with Regus being responsible for North India and Pakistan operations, while setting up several new businesses centres for the company.

Nakul has specialization in hospitality and management from Asia``s finest Hospitality Management school.

Alan Pepper
Finance & Commercial Director

Alan was appointed Chief Executive in October 2011 having previously been Finance and Commercial Director. Having joined Avanta in October 2006 he played a key role in the management buyout of Avanta in January 2007 and the refinancing and shareholders buy-back in June 2011. He was the responsible Investor Director at the private equity house that originally backed the start up of Avanta in 2004. Alan is a Chartered Accountant by profession with experience in corporate finance, investment management, corporate recovery and turnaround management and has worked in the accounting profession in the UK and overseas and in private equity both in a major investment bank and boutique investment firm..

   

David Alberto
Founder & Director

David founded Avanta in February 2004 and has over 18 years` experience in running business centres. He joined Regus in 1992, when it had eight centres, and left at the end of 1996 when it had over 100 centres in 26 countries. He was involved in all aspects of finding buildings, fitting them out and operating them, and ran the UK sales team. He then established his own business centre company, merging it with MWB`s fledgling business centre operation in 1998, taking over as CEO.

Between 1998 and 2002 he grew MWB Business Exchange to 50 centres in the UK and Europe. He left Business Exchange in December 2002 and started Avanta in February 2004. In October 2011 he stepped down as Managing Director to focus on strategic development of the business and property investment.

   

David Kinnaird
Group Operations Director

David has been with Avanta since 2006 where he is responsible for day to day business operations including the billing and delivery of all services (from coffee to copiers to IT), the maintenance of buildings and compliance with all statutory obligations.

Previously David was with BT for 2 years as Head of BT Compliance and Governance practice and prior to this he spent 3 years at MWB Business Exchange as the IT and Telecoms Director. Both roles emerged from his military career with the British Army where left as a Major after 15 years service where he specialised in the design and operation of communication and information system.

   

Geraint Evans
Sales & Marketing Director

Geraint is responsible for Avanta`s overall sales and marketing . Together with a strong team of experienced sales and marketing personnel he is responsible for ensuring that the company`s marketing strategy is complimented by effective and successful sales processes.

Geraint has over 20 years of experience within the sales and marketing arena, having spent three years with Marks & Spencer and ten years with British Airways before becoming the UK Sales Director for MWB Business Exchange. He has been an ever-present member of Avanta since its inception back in 2004.

As a family man he enjoys the challenges` that his three children offer, is a keen sportsman and has a passion for flying light aircraft.

   

Paul Alexander
Finance Director

Paul was previously Director of Finance at MWB Business Exchange before joining Avanta. He is responsible for financial reporting, business planning and cash management. He is also responsible for insurance, business rates and tax compliance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and gained further experience in retail, advertising and car rental before joining Avanta.
