What are the questions that defines an ideal office space in Delhi?

Working at a place for whole 9 hours is not easy. Office jobs involve a lot of physical and mental activities. For example, most people at an office space in Delhi would agree that their core movements revolve around the desk or the workstation. Here we discuss some points on office ergonomics. How can an ideal office space be identified?

In addition to the office space’s physical measurements and furniture, there are other required features too. Some questions to ask before you choose an office space in Delhi are-

Does the office area provide auditory privacy (for example, can people talk in confidentiality)? According to the level of privacy needed; noises and conversations interfere with the employees’ concentration. Surrounding noises make it difficult to hear or understand speech if much of their work involves discussions.

    • Are the office walls permanent (i.e., fixed) or is the workspace in an open office atmosphere?
    • Does the office space offer visual privacy?
    • Can an employee give a personalized touch to his or her workstation?
    • Is there any natural light or only fluorescent lighting?
    • Is the office space layout designed to facilitate interpersonal contact?
    • Is there any space for storage or equipment? Can employees’ immediate access to physical documents?

Finding an ideal workspace is not an easy task; it requires a lot of legwork initially. There is no clear-cut answer to what seems like a simple question because the answer has to deal with many aspects like nature of work, culture aspect of any business etc.
